Be Inspired – January 2024

It’s the new year, which means the media and marketers of the world are desperately telling you about every new fitness program out there.

They make them sound exciting and fun and tend to include all new moves and routines and workouts to get you interested.

The only problem?

They tend to skip the basics!

I know basics can sound boring. It’s so easy to be tempted to skip the fundamentals and basics and go straight to the big stuff.

But here’s the thing.

The “big stuff” just won’t work unless and until we create habits using the basics.

The basics work! Daily movement that includes strength, mobility, walking and Pilates works. Regularly practicing a positive mindset works. Creating regular habits around believing in yourself works.

Those things create a strong foundation that will work for you and with you – no matter what curveballs life throws your way.
