I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve made this in our house recently if that tells you anything!

Our kids love frozen yogurt pops but I don’t always love what’s in the store bought variety. So when our son saw a recipe in a magazine and said “let’s make those Mommy” I was all about it!

I made quite a few tweaks to the recipe to make it less of a sugar bomb and more of a high protein snack treat and here we are!

These Tropical Yogurt Pops are creamy and fruity with just enough sweetness to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Some things to note about this recipe:

  • We used crushed pineapple in this version because this is what the kids requested, but subsequent batches we made substituted frozen blueberries and they were even better in my opinion! So feel free to use any fruit you chose.
  • You’ll notice I used plain yogurt. I buy 2% or 5% as I don’t like any of the chemicals and fillers that end up in the low-fat versions, but feel free to use a different variety if you chose. Just know it could change the consistency.
  • The sweetened condensed milk is what makes these creamy! A little goes a long way and in my opinion it’s the perfect sweet touch and makes the texture perfectly dreamy. If you want to skip that you can still make these but your texture will be different.
  • Use your preferred popsicle molds. Our molds hold about 3 tablespoons of mixture give or take and make a perfect size snack for the kids and adults.

To store I layer the pops in a reusable container with plastic wrap between pops so they don’t stick together. They could last up to a month but never make it that long in our house!

These are the perfect summertime treat and I hope you love them as much as we do!
